GlowellTM light output standards for
fluorescence, luminescence and bioimaging
GlowellTM is
a range of highly reliable, innovative luminescence and
fluorescence standards which can be used to calibrate
light measuring equipment such as luminometers,
fluorometers and bio imaging systems.
The GlowellTM standards
can be used to validate experimental data, standardise
data from different instruments or experiments and
convert relative light units to quantitative
measurements.
Allows standardisation and
comparison of experimental data gathered at different
times and on different instruments
Could be used at the same
time as experimental measurement so there is no need to
interrupt experimental work to make instrument checks
Available in four
different wavelengths (green, blue, yellow, red) and
configurations (96 & 384 well microplates)
Improves high throughput
testing by distributing standards between plates to
check consistency of results
Microplate kits include
three units of differing light intensity covering three
orders of magnitude
Light output is constant
and stable over a broad temperature range, not pulsed
as with LED standards making Glowell products
particularly useful for time-resolved light experiments
Simple to use, with no
advance preparation or external power source required
and can be placed anywhere in the microplate.
Each Glowell unit is laser
etched with a unique identification number and
traceable to National Physical Laboratory Standards
