Product Description
5-Aminoimidazole-4-carboxamide-1-b-D-ribofuranosyl 5’-Monophosphate causes accumulation of monophosphorylated derivative 5-aminoimidaz ole-4-carboxamide ribonucleoside (ZMP) and consequent phosphorylation and activation of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) in intact cells. It is important in treatment of metabolic diseases such as type 2 diabetes.
