Shopping lists

  • Create an item in a shopping list for purchasing later
  • Option to amend shopping list

To create or view the shopping list the user will need to click on their name, which will display as illustrated below, from there the user can select the shopping list:

After selecting the shopping list the following is displayed:

Viewing shopping list

Stage – The location/position of the user.
Page header – The title of the shopping list.
 Items in shopping list – This is where the user can view what is in the shopping list and can amend them accordingly.
Save – This allow the user to save the shopping list for future purchasing.
Transfer to basket – This will allow the user to transfer the items on shopping list into the basket.

Creating shopping list

User can create a shopping list by first searching for the product and then select Add to shopping list, as illustrated below:

This will take the user to the following screen below; the user can then enter a name for the shopping list and click create:

Alternatively, the user can select from the existing shopping list by choosing from the list as illustrated below:

Inside shopping list

Users can see the selected product item in the shopping list and can amend the quantity to reflect the order before transferring into the basket, below illustrates this:

Stage – The location/position of the user.
Page header – The title of the shopping list.
 Additional items in shopping list – This is where the user can view what is in the shopping list and can amend them accordingly.   
Save – This allow the user to save the shopping list for future purchasing.
Transfer to basket – This will allow the user to transfer the items on shopping list into the basket.

Manage the basket from the shopping list

Below illustrates the management of the shopping list and the functionalities:

Stage – The location/position of the user.
Managing shopping list – This allows the user to manage the shopping list by amending the quantity, deleting or adding a new product accordingly.
Update – This allows the user to update if any changes was made from the above point.
Checkout – This lets the user progress to purchase the items in the basket.
 Save – This allows the user to create and save a shopping list if not already created.   

Below illustrates the Billing and Shipping information :

Stage – Billing and Shipping Information, the position the user in the basket.
Shipping address – User have the options to select various address from the system and then click on next.

Below illustrates the final review stage where the user can check before proceeding:

Basket lines include contract prices with discounts, additional quantity based discounts if applicable are listed above in the discounts column.

Controlled Drugs (Cont.drugs) to inform user if the drugs are controlled or not and Sales Tax and Delivery/Freight charges itemised to give a final basket Total Amount.

Stage – Final review, the position the user in the basket.
Manage Checkout – Select payment method (LGC Credit account or credit card)
Enter PO Number – Type in PO number and click “Place order”
Checkout – Proceed to purchase products.

Stage – Order confirmation, the position the user in the basket.
Order number provided this reference is used when contacting LGC Support centres regarding any enquiries user may have.
An email confirmation will be sent to user that placed the order or users can Print order receipt confirmation
