Today, key legislation - such as the US Modernization of Cosmetics Regulation Act (MoCRA) and China’s Cosmetics Supervision and Administration Regulation (CSAR) – has introduced a host of additional safety requirements, as well as a demand for more evidence that products comply with testing standards. COSMETICS, the LGC AXIO Cosmetics and Toiletries Proficiency Testing Scheme, is designed to ensure that analytical laboratories’ chemical, microbiological, and physical analysis keeps pace with these global changes - and also provides them with the confidence that their results are meaningful and accurate.
