Over the last 40 years, LGC AXIO Proficiency Testing (LGC AXIO PT) has grown into a leading global provider of proficiency testing (PT) schemes – participation in which is one of the key requirements for laboratory accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO 15189.
At LGC AXIO PT, we offer more than 2,700 PTs per year from over 800 samples, in real-world matrices, across the food and feed, beverage, environmental, clinical, pharmaceutical, consumer safety and forensic sectors. Together, they give our 13,000+ partner laboratories in over 160 countries confidence in their results, and help to drive their continuous improvement.
Our state-of-the-art reporting platform, PORTAL, processes more than 3.5 million test results annually - providing in-depth, interactive reports that allow our LGC AXIO PT partner laboratories to assess their accuracy over time, as well as across samples, methods, analytes, and analysts. All of this is delivered to participants in an industry-best time of less than one working week on average.
